St Paul the Apostle acknowledges parents and carers as each student’s most influential, primary and essential educators.
We encourage parents to be actively involved in school life and work with us to ensure the best educational outcomes for your child.
Parents are also actively encouraged to attend school events such as sports carnivals, exhibitions and performance evenings.
How Can I Contribute?
Parents and carers are always welcomed and involved in a variety of school activities at St Paul the Apostle. Many parents assist in the teaching and learning process by participating in classroom activities, such as literacy groups and reading programs.
Parents are also encouraged to participate in formal and informal parent groups such as Parents and Friends Association, working bees, assisting with sporting events, sporting gala days, open days, Christmas concerts, assemblies and helping the school librarian.
We warmly invite all parents and carers to attend all liturgical celebrations in our school. We encourage parents of Infants children to sit with their child during grade masses. We ask families to participate in particular aspects of these liturgies such as reading or offertory processions and we encourage parents and carers to pray with the whole school at morning assemblies.
Show your children that volunteering is a good thing.
Speak with our friendly staff today and let them know you’re interested in becoming a parent volunteer.
Volunteer and Contractor Training
We welcome the contribution volunteers make to the life of our school.
As part of our commitment to keeping students safe, all volunteers in schools are required to complete the building child safe communities undertaking form and child protection training module before volunteering. These checks reduce potential risk and forms part of our strategy to build child safe communities.
